I love exploring google maps and walking in Dorset to discover all the unusual and amusing titles of hills, names of towns and villages. ‘Scratchy bottom’ is the steep hill between Bat’s Head and Durdle Door.

Eype Beach is one of my favourite places on the Jurassic Coast and a constant source of inspiration. The walk between Seaton and Eype is a huge climb and viewpoint; once you’ve reached the top, you get a great sense of achievement and a spectacular view as a reward. I love the expanse of hazy sky and sea, often blurred and mottled.
