Wave 7 Gallery, Cornwall
From the 4th of June a series of my newest work will be exhibiting at Wave 7 Gallery. In this new collection of paintings i have revisited images taken from a flying trip in a Piper Warrior PA28 over the North Coast of Cornwall last summer. I have been trying to change my perspective of the coastline to see how the composition, colours, shapes within the view changes from the usual cliff side view. I am drawn to the contrasts between ocean, sky and land and am using this as a starting point to build shapes on the canvas and a relationship between colour and white space.
